Liong Phing Kwee

Liong Phing is a Director of Pontiac Land Pte Ltd, the holding company of Pontiac Land Group.
Pontiac Land is a Singapore-based real estate developer with over 50 years of expertise and experience in luxury property development. Collaborating with a select team of award-winning architects and designers who share the group’s values and commitment to excellence, Pontiac Land has grown its collection to include hospitality, commercial, residential and medical office properties. Strategically located in prime locations, each distinct architectural achievement is complemented with world-class, exclusively commissioned art to enrich the experiences of its living spaces. The Group’s portfolio of developments span Singapore, New York, Sydney, and the Maldives. 

Some of Pontiac Land’s more well-known properties include the Millenia Tower & Ritz Carlton Mellinia, Centennial Tower & Conrad Centennial, Capella Hotel, and Regent Hotel, all in Singapore; The Colonnade, Hana, and Ardmore Residences in Singapore; 53W53 in New York, Sandstones Project in Sydney, and Rah Falhu in the Maldives. 

Pontiac Land Group was founded by Liong Phing’s father, Henry Kwee, a textile trader and real estate developer, who immigrated to Singapore from Indonesia in 1958. Today, Pontiac Land is jointly run by Liong Phing and his three brothers, Liong Keng, Liong Tek and Liong Seen, all of whom live in Singapore. 

Liong Phing is a graduate of Cornell’s College of Architecture, Art and Planning (AAP) and is a member of AAP’s Dean’s Advisory Council.
