Bruce H. Reinstein

Bruce is a partner at Kinetic12, a management consulting firm operating at the center of the foodservice industry. Kinetic12 focuses on strategic planning for growing chains, manufacturers, distributors and hospitality industry associations. He was instrumental in developing the “Brand Check-up” which is a customized strategic assessment tool and is useful in assessing equity investment opportunities. Bruce’s leadership experience in developing and growing multi-unit restaurant brands, concept operations, menu development and supply chain strengthens Kinetic12’s knowledge and problem-solving consulting offerings.

Bruce is dedicated to systems development and implementation with an emphasis on value that stems from differentiation. He has had great success working with brand leaders and their teams on customized solutions to opportunities before they become problems. His hands-on approach to finding opportunities is to understand a team’s culture and break down walls that are impeding growth and causing decreased revenue and rising costs.

Prior to joining Kinetic12, Bruce was the President of Consolidated Concepts where he grew a consulting business for emerging chains to 200 clients. The focus was on customized solutions to the needs of the brands. Prior to that he was the co-founder and president of Fresh City, a 2002 Hot Concepts Award Winner from Restaurant News. Fresh City was an innovator in what is today referred to as “fast casual.”

After graduating from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell, Bruce started his career with Hyatt Hotels, spending six years there. He was a guest speaker at the Cornell Hotel School’s Dean’s distinguished lecture series in 2000 and was awarded the Cornell Hospitality Innovator Award in 2006. Bruce recently published the book, Secrets to Ongoing Success: Keeping Yourself and Your Organization Fresh.

Bruce and his wife Jayne live in the Boston area and on Cape Cod and they have two children: Michael and Amanda.
