Staying in Ithaca to pursue her MBA proved critical, as that is where she met her future husband, Luke Garvey (MBA ‘82). They married after his graduation, had their wedding reception at the Cornell Club in New York City, and root for Cornell Hockey (and the NY Rangers) through thick and thin. After a distinguished career in health care technology, Luke changed careers and now works as a psychotherapist in private practice. Michelle and Luke live in Westport, CT, and their two adult children live nearby in Connecticut. |
